- !OvP2HTML version 0.04
-
- By Tim Wiser
-
-
-
- Purpose
- ~~~~~~~
- Takes a DDL file from Ovation Pro and converts it into an HTML document
- suitable for publishing on the Internet.
-
-
- Support
- ~~~~~~~
- Support in this versiom exists for font changes, bold, italic, underlining,
- strikethrough, super and subscript, font colour changes, font size changes
- and user defined styles. I think. I've not tested it thoroughly due to a lack
- of a copy of OvationPro...! The output code is not exactly excellent quality
- but it tends to do the job for me. It also translates any foreign characters
- to their HTML equivalents. Plus you can choose between <UPPER CASE> or
- <lower case> tags.
-
- There are three example DDL files inside the application so you can play
- around.

- Thanks
- ~~~~~~
- Thanks to pixeleyes for help with the DDL files
- Thanks to Brian Gamble for letting me work at school during my holiday
- Thanks to Rob & Andrew for further help with DDL files
- Thanks to ANT and Computer Concepts(?!) from which I borrowed bits of icons ;)
-
-
- Notes
- ~~~~~
- 1. The source DDL file should be settyped as either &100 or &B25.
- 2. The output HTML file is settyped as 'HTML' (&FAF).
- 3. The created HTML code is of a diabolical quality. Sorry!
-
-
- Bug fixes in this version
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
- Can deal with more than 2 conversions in succession ;) (daft oversight by me).
- Save window pops up when a DDL document is dragged onto the iconbar.
- Save window is closed when the HTML file is completed.
- Program no longer quits after the HTML file is completed.
- *Should* work out the OvationPro document name properly now.
- No more <font size=+0> should occur.
- Produces slightly tidier output code.
- Source and destination files can't be the same.
- Doesn't claim to be a DDF to HTML converter anymore ;)
- Will translate all stories, not just STORY_114.
- No longer produces code with two alignment tags in succession.
